I am a research associate professor in the department of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University.

I received a Ph.D. degree in Economics with concentration in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University in 2010. I also have M.Sc. degrees in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University and the University of Free State, South Africa. I also earned a Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics from Kansas State University. I completed an online course in Big Data Specialization in 2016 and received three separate training in econometric and quantitative techniques from the American Economic Association Continuing Education Program. I have more than 15 years of international research and extension experience in the area of project monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, agricultural economics and business management in East Africa, South Africa, West Africa and the United States of America.
